Ok guys i have to thank everyone here that has helped me out to get my baby back in the air. She floats like a butterfly and stings like when i pee.............just kidding. On a scale of 1 to 10 on how much i know about engines and quads, i know about 2 maybe 2.5 , but with your help i was able to do the following.
-Remove, disassemble, clean, rejet, and reassemble carb.
-Remove, replace, install new sprokets.
-Change oil (that was 12 hours of fun right there)
-Learn how to properly ride it.
And now that all is done i took it out in the yard and
WOW!!!!! This thing is mean (that is compared to what it was before) I used to not be able to do a wheelie unless from a complete stop. Now i can pull it off in the first 3 gears. And all in all i didn't spend any money except on parts. Thanks again to everyone, without you i would have brought it to a mechanic and that could have been pricey. Plus i know so much more about these machines. I plan on using this forum till the day i cant climb back on my quad. thanks again

Yeah boy, that first oil change is a doozey. Too bad I didn't know about this forum back when I started doing mine. I'm surprised that the CA EPA and NREA didn't slap me atop their most wanted list.
Anyways, glad we could be of assistance. Jump on OMR's stock carb mods and hang on, once the bug bites it's never ending. The money flies away faster than the monkeys from Oz.
DO NOT get caught up in this builder drama that has driven some of our most knowledgable members away. Do your research and go with what is in your budget at the time. There is always more money and more time on down the road, and it gives you the opportunity to appreciate each upgrade as you apply it and gain more knowledge of your bike.
Enjoy the ride.
