I just bought a brand new 2006 John Deere Buck 650 Auto with $400.00 in free accessories for only $4600.00 OTD taxes and everything. I rode my friends for a little and thought it rode nice. I notice they are lighter than the BRP on the spec sheet. Does anyone know if over the years they might have updated this atv, or is it entirely the same atv it was in 04? It says it's 47 lbs. lighter on the spec sheets. Looking forward to picking it up even if it it old school. My wife really likes the colors. Brian

4 WD or 2WD? That might be the difference.

It's 4WD. It's not switchable from 2 to 4 though which is a bummer. Maybe there's the 47 lbs difference? Hehe Everyone says they ride like a tank (the BRP), but I rode one of these and it wasn't far off from my
Sportsman other than the solid axle? Maybe they lightened them and put better shocks on them. Dealer still has 11 or so if anyone is interested along with other models. Deal for that price is 400 in acc. or a 2 yr. warranty. Can't buy an entry level 4x4 for that price. Brian
