1983 185 carb adjustment

What is the correct initial adjustment on a 185 carburetor? Thanks

i wish i had the manual in front of me

i wanna say it was between 1.5 and 2 turns,,,,cant remember exactly

that would at least get you started

1983 185 carb adjustment

Thanks. It started and sounds pretty good at 1 1/2 turns out..Smoking a good bit. Most likely needs rings but I will experiment with 2 turns. Thanks

for some reason,,,1 5/8 keeps coming to mind

but then again,,,that could be the generator,,,or chainsaw,,,,or maybe the outboard

too many carb screws,,,ughhh

What kind of special screwdriver do you use to reach the adjustment screw that they tried to make impossible to adjust??

i dunno

i was dealing with a xl185s dirtbike,,,,real easy to access

Just a short flat head screwdriver is fine.

1980-82 ... 2 turns out
