any one checked the valve clearence on the 07? i am going to but dont have shop manual. anything tricky to look out for?
also when it is started cold the engine knocks for a few seconds. is this normal?

 

I don't know if it is normal, but my 700 Grizzly knocks when I first start it cold. I don't know about the valve clearance. I just took mine to the shop and they were supposed to check the valve clearance.

 

i now have taken parts off down to where i can get to the valve covers. i need to know size of allen wrench to fit the plug in crank cover and valve clearence. owners manual dont give this info. in the past i have ordered shop manual when i buy a new bike, this time i didnt.

 

i now have one ,its a 14mm. now to find out what the correct setting is....
