hey it depends on what kinda riding you want to do... i've yet to see a plow on a raptor....
we're talking ferrari and kenworth here. the Griz is a BIG machine! the Rap is more like a motorcycle in its ergonomics, with a much hotter version of the same engine.
if plowing and hunting and stuff work for you, have you looked at the Rhino? they sell like mad here for hunting and farm rigs. very popular!
if you want to climb a wall, it cant think of anything better than a grizzly....it has every possible accesory available, damm!
take your time and make your choice, it's a lot of money.....let me know if I can help, i work with/on them all day long.

How can we have a ferrari and a kenworth with the same engine? The only real differences are the 42mm single mikuni and low end cam on the grizz versus the dual 33's and more aggresive cam on the raptor.

Hey grizzleygoat 67 isn a bad speed at all since ive only seen 72 on my raptor..(i have trialtech) and its not that im all into speed but acceleration is wat i like....RAPTOR8 when you said do you want to climb up a wall tyhe grizzley is perfect...does that mean the grizzley can climb better than a raptor....and im not into hunting at all...just racing, creeks, hilol climbing, and snow and tree plowing....

not sure what your asking, but i'l give a answer to it, lol.
grizzly will not outrun a raptor on hard pack. it is slower, dont expect more than that. to compare, add a 300 lb man to the back of your raptor, then you'll feel the power of the grizzly. but, it is not slow by no means! mine power slides( after itp rims and much better tires) does wheelies, ( with NO HELP FROM body english) can plow all the snow you throw at it. crosses water like a dream. the tranny is the best design out there for an automatic. it hauls like crazy, tows great, soaks up ruts better than you'l even hope for!
so, if your all about running dunes, or nice hard pack trails, run with the raptor.
if your all about plowing snow, crossing water, running through snow all winter long, attaching mud like you can only dream of, climbing muddy steep slopes, or running rough trails at higher speeds, with power out of the hole that can make ya smile, get the griz!

My Griz will do 66mph with the tires at 7psi. At 5 psi it run about 63 to 64. It will wheelie from a standstill without any help in high. At a roll it takes alot to get the front up. It has plenty of power, it just rips the tire loose and rips down the trail. On the trails the acceleration is intense. Out in the open it doesn' feel that fast, but it does really good. It will go from 0 to 55 in 100 yds. I can climb some insane hills and it will accelerate all the way up (in high) and lift off at the top.
