How do you air up an ATV Tire?
#1
I put some of that green stuff (name?) inside my tires in order to prevent flats, and seal small holes. Only one problem, as I found out, I can air up my tires because the green stuff sealed the needle?
1. My tires are losing air, and I need to add some, but can't. Do I take the needle out with air still left in the tire? Because I can't bleed air from the tire either. Or, would it be to dangerous to take the needle out, or replace the needle?

Exactly what turtler said. You do not need to worry about taking the valve out with pressure in the tire. It will not "shoot" out at you. You will just hear a noisy rush of air as the air escapes. As you loosen the valve with the valve tool, when you hear the tire start to leak, just turn it a little more and hold on to the valve tool holding the valve in the stem.

I'm personally not a fan of sliming tires. One problem that is common on the trail is if the entire tire comes off the rim after bumping a rock or something from the side. All the slime in the world won't prevent that and it's a pain to clean the rim when trying to remount it if the tires were already slimed.

First you need to tell us exactly where the air is leaking from. Is it a bead leak or puncture? If it is a bead leak you will be able to see this by laying down the wheel on its side and putting some soapy water around the bead. if it bubbles around the bead, you have found the problem. Also use soapy water around the stem and core. If it is the bead, I use 3M wheather strip adhesive. Break the bead on both sides and put a small amount of 3M around the wheel bead on both sides and reinflate the tire.

Also, it's important that when you fill your Slimed tire, that the valve stem be at the lower half of the tire's rotation, i.e.: between 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. If you have it at the top, the Slime wants to run out and down through the valve stem and seal it since it thinks it's a leak.
