2005 400EX ?
#1
My son-in-law has A 400 Ex that he took to the dealer to have serviced. He picked it up and took it home and put it in his garage for about two week's before going riding. Being that he had just had it serviced he did not check anything when he took it out. Rode it for about 20Min. when it died. He coulden't keep it running. Got it back to the truck and checked it out, The oil was bearly toching the stick. Now when he start's it it's pouring out white smoke and then shut's down. What kind of damage's could he have done to it by not double checking the oil in the first place.?

My brother-in-laws 400ex lost the plug out of the oil reservoir. I don't know how long it ran low on oil, or ran out of oil, but it required cylinder boring and a new piston. The cam was fine as were the rest of the internal parts.
