what sprocket should i use????

Default what sprocket should i use????



i've done a few things to my banshee now and feel like the a sprocket change in the front will help overall. what sprocket should i put in the front and what sprocket do i have know??? what does the sprocket usually help on and will i feel the difference??

The stock front sprocket on the banshee is a 14. If you move up to a 15 or 16 you'll be able to hold your gears longer, and have more top speed (if you have the power to pull the taller gears) but you will lose some torque, most noticably when you're at lower rpms, and taking off from a stop. If you go to a smaller sprocket like a 13, you'll get the opposite response. You will be winding out your gears and shifting quicker, and may lose some top speed, but you'll have more torque, especially when you're getting moving from a dead stop.

cool sounds like what im looking for,because my gears feel way too short and 6th gear feels like it wants to keep on going. thanks for the info. im probably try a 15tooth and see what happens..
