I have a 1987 Honda TRX 350 4x4 that runs great however periodically without definnet pattern while in forward motion the motor dies just like cutting off the switch, kick it in neutral and it starts up right a way and will run as long as it is in neurtal. When you put it in gear either forward or reverse it dies again. I can sit there in neurtal with motor at idel and after a few minutes I can put it in gear and we are good to go. If I let it sit without the motor running it will not correct itself. The Honda dealers will not look at it because it is to old. He told me it was a ground short I have checked all the ground that I could find but no luck. One independent cycle shop I took it to it would not act up for him. I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems and what they did about it.

jafodoc, I hope you found out what ever was was causing this because that is why I have been searching these atv forums, when I read your post I could have written the exact same thing. I haven't been able to find\fix mine either. Any help would be appreciated.
