450r front shocks/400ex

Does anyone know if the 450r and 400ex front shocks will interchange?

I put them on my 2001 400, they pretty much bolt right on. Only thing I had to do was grind off a little of the gusset on the frame. Made a great upgrade!!

do they have adjustable preload/comp. like the stock 400 rear?

450r front shocks/400ex

they are actually more adj. than the 400ex rear. and they should fit right up... I had a 300ex with a 400ex shock conversion kit on it and upgraded to the 450r shocks and didnt have any issues
