I just bought a set of maxxis all traks for my 400ex(awesome tire by the way) and need more power because it just doen't have any on the top end anymore. I am taking care of gearing as I am getting a 14 tooth front sproket. I am in a delema as weather to get a Mega Max pipe or supertrapp ids2. People tell me so many different things about these 2 pipes I don't know what to believe. Whick one is quieter? More Power? Better quality?( as in not breaking or cracking)I am already getting a K&N Power Kit.Please Help

If you say you don't have the topend anymore, why are you gearing it down? What you should do is put a 16 tooth front sprocket on it and then get a full pipe (mid range and all) and then it would be nice, have lots of low end with the pipe, plus a top speed that is nice with the gearing.

My old megamax pipe cracked in half 2 times before I got rid of it. The supertrapp would be a lot quieter then the megamax pipe, but there are so many slip-on pipes for the 400 it is all in your preference, but I wouldn't recommend the FMF. If you are looking for a quiet slip-on that still puts out power, then try the Big Gun with the quiet core installed.
