Has anyone installed an aftermarket swingarm skid plate on their Recon? If so,did you loose any ground clearance compared to the stock one?I was thinking of getting the PRM one,but it looks like it would cause the Recon to loose a little more clearance than stock.Thanks-

I have one on my Recon. I only lost about a 1/4 inch of clearance, And thats about how thick the skid plate is. It looks alot more beefier than the stock one, too.

Is It stronger than the stock one?I banged mine up pretty bad in a river on some rocks and came close to cracking my Differential and was hoping the PRM one will be stronger. Thanks

Yea,I have the PRM chassis skid plate and it is really strong.I just ordered the Differential and A-Arm skids.I figure the $80 for the Diff. plate is cheaper than a new Diff. from Honda when it cracks on a rock.Thanks-
