I need to know about how much of a power increase would a Supertrapp IDS 2 system to a stock 1995 300EX? I'm planning on getting on this Christmas and would like to know. I would like to gain power in the midrange and on topend. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how much more power you will get, but I think it is a big improvement over the origional ids. You should also rejet and put a hi-flow filter and the mods will compement each other. you will be letting more burnt gasses out so you need more fuel and air to get in the motor. If you drive a lot on dirt roads you may want to put a larger c/s sproket on for more top speed. I imagine you will hit the rev limiter with the pipe and jets if you don't change your sproket ratio.

 

What size countershaft sprocket would you guys recommend? And also I plan on maybe starting to race motocross next year so I need something that will help out with that. Thanx a lot, fellas.

 

I have the Supertrapp Racing 4 inch exhaust with 15 discs in it , and let me tell you , there is not a person with a 10 mile raius that dosen't hear me. You might also want to put on a k&N airfilter to help get some more air to the motor. Also you will need to re-jet.
