Polaris 425 Magnum

I can't get my 425 to turn over at all all it does is make a clicking sound. I thought it might be the battery and tried hooking it up to a care battery and still just a click any thoughts? Thanks!

can you get it to pull start?......your starter may be locked up....

No I checked the starter isn't locked up that was my 1st thought
