Default Differences in 2006-2007 800EFI's.

Just wondering, I've read the 07's have more more power stock then the 06's. I just bought a 07 Stealth and am wondering what some of the updates on them that have been done. What are some differences from the 2006-2007.

I've come to the DARK SIDE.

Thanks

Here are a few external observations. The Box on the front no longer has removable caps above the front shock towers and the fuse block is mounted down with a new rubber access panel. The front Differential is all new and has an angled entry that matches the angle of the drive shaft. This is much better because it reduces the load on the front diff bearing. You will notice they use the same geometry castings for the new ADC. My 06 entry is 90 degrees to the wheels. My early 06 and had a 3 piece heat shield. They really didn't cover very much. They were wimpy compared to later 06's (After Feb) when they upgraded and combined the front two into a one piece steel shield. In 07 they changed the shifting rod mounts rod eyes to pivots. It allowed them to contour the rod it around the new heat shield and not sag. Header became two pieces with a connection under the heat shield. Grips and leavers were a little different on the Stealth I saw. Black cans instead of silver.

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Enjoy your new machine.
