my quad puts out white smoke during idle and more white smoke during revving. i attempted to adjust the oil injector cable according to the repair manual but no luck. from where the marks sit on the cable pulley, it looks like it is putting too much oil in the cylinders during idle and revving causing the white smoke. i tried to loosen the cable so the marks line up. should i try to replace the cable or just eliminate the oil injector period and go premix? thanks

i don't think it is coolant because it does not have that sweet smell. it has more of a burning type smell. if the head gasket was shot, you would think the idle and the actual performance of the quad would be affected. i know even with a small head gasket problem you would feel a small effect.
