how to adjust the chain tension??

Hi, i was wondering if anybody might know how to adjust the chain tension on a 01 ds650.the chain is too loose i would like to tighten it up a bit. any help would be appreciated.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

First, you need to loosen the 4 bolts on the bearing carrier.
Then, stick a phillips head screw driver through the little hole in the sprocket star into the little hole in the bearing carrier.
Roll bike backward until the desired tension is achieved.
PS: Its best to attach one end of a ratched strap to the grab bar and the other end around the swingarm to bind the bike down to the approx ride height the bike would sit with you on the seat.
After this is done, tighten the 4 bolts and off you go.
