Default '05 Sportsman 500- rear drive modification

New to forum. Thanks in advance for any help. Also new to quad. Want to know if possible to alter rear drive to change from a "locker" (both wheels driven at same rate all the time) to a limited slip. I am riding on some "sensitive" land and all the traction tears it up with any attempt at changing direction. Don't really want to go to one wheel drive by disconnecting an axel. May try turf tires if there are no other better ideas.
TIA

Not much you can do. Some polaris models come with a "turf" mode which allows you to unlock your rear wheels. The selection is on your right bar where you shift in to AWD and 2 wheel. I have mostly seen these on the Sportsman X2.
