kazuma falcon 110 tranny replacement
#1
so, my recon got stuck in the mud and my son tried to pull me out with his kazuma (using reverse). after that, the kazuma shifts through the forward gears with no problem, but simply resists going from the forward gears to neutral to reverse, or from reverse to neutral to the forward gears...all you get is an unpleasant grinding noise.
me thinks the gears are stripped and i see various sites that offer replacement gears. i'm not particularly mechanically inclined, but i'm thinking about ordering the assembly, pulling the engine and taking a crack at replacing the parts.
three quick questions:
anyone tried this?
am i crazy?
any better ideas?
thanks!

iv never done it but if you take your time, take pics with your camera as you take it apart,it will help when you put it back together, not sure if any special tools are needed? but you can do it. plus you got a tech service here.
