So I have 2 450r and i have one modded the way I like it but my second I want to try something different... I have full exhaust, HRC Cam, K&N, Want to go high compression, I have a 13:1 on my current bike but have to run race fuel..... What do you all recommend for this bike with out race fuel.... What kind of power gains can I expect from a 12:5:1 or even a 11:5:1.... Does porting help that much more??? Let me know what you think... Thanks

 

I went with an Athena 480 big bore, Stage II Hotcams, ported and polished head, Uni filter and an FMF Q2 slip-on.
I rejetted to a 185 main, 50 pilot and dropped the clip to the bottom of the needle.
I love the power gains
