Ride Report...New Scrammy with White Bros/K/N
#1
Ok, as some of you know from other posts I got my 06 Scrambler for the wife on Friday. 1 hour later the pipe and filter were installed . Time to experiment with jetting. Turns out that the factory jetting is near perfect with airbox lid on. (Rear end dyno). It was pretty sluggish stock, mostly due I think, to rich setting from factory. But I will say with the pipe I am impressed. I ride a slightly modified DS 650 so I wasn't expecting the Scrambler to be much more than our Trailboss with a little more power. But I had a blast riding it this weekend (wife did too BTW). I do see what the forum members mean about the clutch not being right there as I rode my buddies KFX 700 with a Dalton racing clutch this weekend and it was amazing! So I know that a CVT can be quite responsive and hope to tweek the Scrambler clutch a little. I agree the Scrambler is a very impressive overall package and we are a very happy with our purchase.
