Default Airbox w/ bigger carb??

I just bought a new race mod engine, and the stock airbox boot isn't goin to fit over the carb...I was wondering what i could do to make this work?? I also wanted to thank rick ritter for helping me w/ my project...any input about this airbox situation is appreciated...And the quad is a 95 if that makes a difference in the airbox

Default Airbox w/ bigger carb??

On my 700 when I went from a 34mm carb to a 40mm carb I used some soap and lubed up the boots so the would slide over the carb.

they sell an adaptor with the pwk if you say your going to use the stock air box.

if this is some ebay pwk form another model your in for a treat there set up way different then what hpd sells.

I made an adaptor using the rubber coupler from the exhaust side of the clutch cover, it fits the PWK so from there you just need to pic up a small piece of exhaust pipe reducer from your local aout parts store to go between the rubber from the stock box to the carb.
