Default just checking on jetting

I just got a k&n pro flow kit for my 450r for xmas and was just wondering around what jet size to use and how many turns out I should have the main...I wasn't going to get a pilot as I don't think I need one until I get an exhuast...I know that Honda jets lean from the factory so my guess for the main jet would be to go up 1 or 2 sizes on the main and not sure what to set the needle at...If someone could just let me know that would be great...I was going to run with the airbox on for now until I get an exhuast and am about 100ft above sea level...Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I had to go up a couple sizes from factory as it was set very lean. I also had to go up one size on the pilot jet as well. It's been a while, and I no longer am running the stock carb, but I think with the jet kit I was running somewhere like 3 turns out on the screw. I didn't use the needle that came with the jet kit. I bought an HRC needle from Extreme Motorsports and honestly can't remember where I set that. I'll see if I could dig up the old carb and check the settings for you. He set up the new carb when he did my motor and I'm pretty sure he sent the old carb back in my box of parts.
