I'm gonna get my powdercoat black frame back from the shop before January, and I need to get prepared. ..
-Are generic sintered bronze pads better than the stockers? They claim so, but the OEM's sure look like bronze to me...
-Is the "updated" OEM swingarm bolt turned down in the middle? My old OEM one wasn't, but my new dealer-packaged OEM one they sold me is thinned out where it goes thru the block. Is this all good? ....or is this one for a new 'EX, and running the new style bolt in the pre-'05 block is going to do me in!!
-Is Pro Armor the best/super good stuff? I know AC is crap because I bought their stuff. Suckers die hard. What can I say...
-How often do I hafta lather on the lube for my swingarm bolt such that I will not have to pay a visit to hell again?
-How THE HECK do I get my rebound adjustment on my rear shock back to factory spec!!?? I know it's off by a mile because I rode the bike before I tore it down, and it doesn't have positive stops.
