I have a 99 warrior and wanted a high performence exhaust system. my local shop has a big gun exhaust system in stock for
$228. Is that a good price for one. How loud are they. do they give you more power? So if you guys could write back it would be helpful

 

The big gun exhaust is pretty good -- but they're normally not forestry approved or spark arrested -- so if you're using it on public land, it's not such a great setup.

$228 sounds really cheap -- is it the header and muffler? If so, it's a good deal.

The stock exhaust on the Warrior's not that bad, so any aftermarket exhaust you try won't give you gobs of power. Normally you can expect an 8 - 15% increase over stock h.p.

btw, the stock Warrior header is HUGE, so most of the aftermarket companies just offer mufflers and not a different header -- it's not needed!
