Default Squeak in Front End

I have a annoying squeak in the front end of my 06 foreman, I cant pin point where it is coming from. Any suggestions? Just unload a can of WD-40 and hope it goes away? thanks

well you could remove all the bolts one at a time and smear grease all over them and put them back in . that would be good maintence anyway. one at a time is easy and you wont get lost in what you are doing.

i am talking about shock bolts and A arm bolts.

My guess would be that its either your ball joints or you shock that are making the noise...try spraying some wd40 in the shock and see if that helps any.

If you want to find out if its a ball joint or tie rod. Then grab your wheel and try shaking it. Tie rods should not have any play in them. Ball joints jack the front end up and do the same thing. But one hand on top and one at the bottom of the wheel, Again play is bad. Both of these parts are really easy to fix.
But my guess is mud in the shocks.

The top arm has a ball joint securing it to the steering knuckle. Pull the ball joint (circlip and nut to knuckle) and see if it's okay. The upper arm itself is secured by means of a sleeve and a long bolt with two end bushings. Pull the long bolt, move the upper arm away from the frame, and remove the bushings and sleeve, and grease thoroughly. Reassemble. Do the same for the bottom, making sure to pay extra attention the the grease on the actual bolts, because there isn't any elaborate bushing assembly on bottom arm. Also, follow the advice of rinman and check out the shocks. Pay special attention to the shock end bushings. This will fix your problem. (There's a ball joint in the bottom of the knuckle worth peeking at too.)

I will try these suggestions given. The machine only has about 300 easy miles on it. Could ball joint be worn already?
