First ATV in 10 years. A Vapor computer will be my first mod. Second task will be to check all the nuts and bolts for tightnes. Then greese all the piviot pionts. Time to ride. All of my friends, with ATV's, have 4WD. They ride them like they are 2WD. If I get stuck, they will pull me out. Besides, I have the keys to the truck. LOL

LOL. Very funny. I know the 525 is only $300 more. This is also the first year run of that machine. (never buy the first year) I feel the 500 will be fine for my trail riding adventures.

 

Just got back from the dealer and here is what he says. Some of this may be old news to some of you. I don't know how accurate this info. is.

Polaris and KTM are over. KTM was scared to continue business with a larger co.. They may get back together in the future. No worries about getting parts for the 525. The 07 will be the only year they have the Pred. 525. This dealer is only allowed one and it is sold prior to dealer receiving it.
