Installing Winch - Sportsman 500
Hi All,
A newbee here....I am trying to install a Viper winch on my 2004.5 500 Sportsman. I have the install complete except for hooking up the last wire that is needed to power it off of the key. How do I identify that wire? Any help is appreciated.

Installing Winch - Sportsman 500
Not sure about your model, there may be some "spares" under the hood, or in the pod. They are red/white stripe female spade connectors. If you do not see any, you could always tap into the 12v plug on the side of the pod. It is powered only with key on!
