Default Blaster Brake Upgrade

Have a 97 Blaster - would like suggestions on brake improvements? I know I could find 2005/2006 parts and upgrade to hydraulics - anyone know a good source? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Scot

Cable lube, and lots of it. The stock brakes work very well for a sub 400 lb machine, but the cables always get neglected and makes the whole system feel like crap.

I put new cables on the front. Used a motion pro shorty cable on the rear brakes. Vesrah grooved Kevlar pads all around. One other thing I used high quality synthetic brake grease on the rear brake cylinder. All for less than $100, not as good as disc brakes , but better than stock.
