My Dads raptor has a problem. He put on new sprockets front and rear. He went for a ride and the reverse light started coming on and the bike would run bad. Pop backfire etc. He check could not fnd any thing wrong. wire not shorted nothing? Went for another ride and it did the same thing. This time the bike quite running altogether. He tried starting would not start. It would back fire and pop but would not run? We talk to a couple of people all agree it was the CDI. We took one of a Rinho. The bike started right up. So he went to town bought a new CDI installed the bike run perfect. We went for a ride about 20 min in to the ride. Same problem. Reverse light come on bike pops backfire etc? Bike shuts off tried to restart Will not start! No spark. We think the CDI is bad again? Has anyone had this type of Problem? What did you do to fix problem?
