400 Sport Girdle Kit ?

Since I have this engine torn down to the cases . Would it be worth it to install a girdle kit on the head and the cylinder ? If so, what does it actually consist of ? I am a journeyman tool and diemaker by trade so if it would be worth my time I would just make it myself .

i dont think you need it unless your making high hp

You may not NEED one but if you can make one better safe than sorry.I have seen stock 400s break cylinders tooo.

A friend of mine has a stock one with a broken cylinder as we speak . I also know of another guy that has a stock one with a broken cylinder AND case !
