Sell me on a 700 Raptor,or not ;)

This will be my first guad, I was going to buy a Honda 450R.
I am at about 250 pounds.
I will ride the guad mostly in indiana at the Badlands Park.
I was thinking I want lots of torque, so sell me on a new 700 Raptor or a Honda 450R.

I would say to ride them yourself, they have differing characteristics. The 450R is more race oriented, the Raptor more trail oriented.
Get somebody to let you throw a leg over each one, it will be far more informative that any biased opinions you will get here.
And yes, I am biased too.

Good advice there
You got to ride each and decide for your self which one you like best.
I am biased as well

Yes it would, when my 700R was internally stock with LTE duals, GYT-R filter & adapter and a Power commander III with a dyno tuned custom map I was making 48.33 ft lbs of TQ and 50.44 RWHP.
These things pull hills like a tractor

For a bigger guy I would say that the 450r would be out of the picture, the 450r is an awesome quad don't get me wrong but the size of the raptor would suite you better and be more comfortable or you can go with a ds650 which has tons of torque also...if you have alot of money like 10k then get yourself a renegade

Part of me says take a good look at the Polaris OutLaw 525
How come so darn many quads to chose from

I would wait and get the KFX-450. Its got reverse and is going to be fast... by what ive read, really fast. Also the reason I woldnt get a raptor is everybody has one, I just dont like having the same thing as everybody else.
