I remember some discussion of the importance of proper gas cap torquing on quads to prevent fuel loss when riding. I was wondering where I could purchase a Gas Cap torque wrench and what the specs would be for my blaster. Everytime time I refuel I worry whether I'm putting the cap on tight enough; Please Help!

Yea, I have one that I'll sell for $1500.00 and as for proper torque values, I know what they are but I can't share that information, it's a trade secret!!!

Fastblast, I don't know whether you're jerking our chain or whether somone's jerking yours, but assuming it's the latter, you tighten the cap until it doesn't leak. If it is still leaking you'll have to borrow a metric Crescent wrench. The guy who told you this story may invite you on a snipe hunt..don't go or you'll be left holding the bag!

A minor correction/addition: I believe the adjustment requires a LEFT-HANDED metric Crescent wrench, Cal!

The proper torque is 600lbs. You'll probably wreck a gas cap or two trying to achieve this but it's worth it. Use a pipe wrench and a 3 foot section of cheater pipe and you'll do fine. If it still leaks you can always weld it closed.
