raptor piston and crank question

Default raptor piston and crank question

which piston is better for a 727 ross or je? I cant seem to find ross for sale anywhere. where i do get them? will the hot rods crank fix of rod problem on the raptor?

I have a JE and its worked great.......as for the rods i have never had any touble with mine....and it is one hard hitting raptor

Ross is better, but there are lots of happy 105mm JE owners. Ross is availible from Craycraft racing, and probably a few other places.

The hotrods crank is stronger than stock and should give you ample insurance against failure. You may also want to look into the stroker cranks while you're shopping around.

I have a hot rods crank and rod. I beat the tar out of my raptor. So far, it's lasted twice as long as the stocker after I went up to a 686.

I second the stroker. I wish I did that.
