Default breeze unknown wire

i just bought a 1989 breeze for the kids -- it has a few problems i am trying to solve. the wire bundle running along the right side under the seat, just above where the relays are, has a black wire coming out that has a male post connection exposed, but nothing connected to it -- and nowhere i see to connect it. what should that wire connect to? i'm hoping someone reading this might have one and can either look at theirs and tell me, or email me a picture. jt@joyindeed.com thanks so much!!

well, it was dying when i shifted into reverse -- but i have since discovered that you have to hold the left brake when shifting into reverse. i still have this black wire dangling out near the battery. it tests out as a ground wire, but surely it is meant to be connected -- otherwise it would not have a factory male post connection (bullet style). i believe the negative battery terminal should have a second wire from it having a female post connection, based only on a serviceman's interpretation of the schematic. i was hoping someone with a breeze could look at theirs and confirm with me. otherwise, no problems. thanks!

I have a 125 grizzly which is about the same. I have to hold the brake for both forward and reverse. As far as the wire goes, if everything is working, it could just be extra. It might of been used on another model but not on yours. Its cheaper to use an existing harness then to make a new one with one less wire. For the kids, these 125's are great.
