Default honda 124 4trx blue smoke

I recently had new piston rings replaced on my quad along with the valves ground. It had been sitting for a while and is now up and running. It still runs with a bit of blue smoke. Any suggestions?

The new part might need to "seat" into place. It could also be oil residue left in the muffler, from before the rebuild. If it has been ridden since the rebuild, you may have a problem.

Have you checked the jetting?

Did you only replace the rings? If so then maybe it needs bored and a new piston.

I read that as piston and rings, Qwoder you might be onto something.

That's initially what I thought it was. My son took it out for riding last night and it bogged out. It wouldn't start again so I'm sure I have much more problems. Thanks
