Default Rubicon High End Speed

Just wondering what you guys top out as far as speed is concerned with your rubicons. I think I broke it in correctly but only getting around 45mph as my top speed. Thanks!

It depends on how much room you have. With a fairly long straight stetch, I can get mine up to an indicated 56. The speedometer is optimistic though, according to the GPS, it is more like 51.

Either way - how fast do you really want to go on a 600lb utility?

Out in Utah I got mine to reach 59mph and that was with the bike loaded down with probably 200 pounds of gear on it. Of course it was a really long stretch and it was slightly downhill to. The rubicon was jetted to but i don't know if that makes a difference or not. This is on a stock machine.

my 2002 goes about 49... and on a good day. 52. How often do I go that fast with this machine??? well in 5 years and nearing 3,000 miles id say 5 times. Speed is not at the top of the why I have a rubicon list.

on flat ground with my rubicon stock it is 53 on the speedo and 51 according to GPS, but my friend then installed a cdi box without the built in rev limiteer and I can blast 63MPH, I also have a phone video as proof. ALthough its reving way to high for my likeing I keep it in the low 50's anyway

I have heard of this CDI box ordeal before. Not so much worried about top end, but is there any any improvments other than top end speed? Is 0-30 improved? is tourqe improved? Or is the bogging down in mud issue improved?
Was this Box an off the shelf one? More details would be outstanding for those that love to modify.

my 04 rubicon would do 82klp maxed out on a long strech of road.
and my buddys 03 on the same strech hit 84 klp thats just over 50 and 51 mph
if you want anything faster you should look at somthing with a little more cc's.

the issue with honda is not cc power my rancher will do 52mph, but that is it period, the rpm limiter kicks in and shuts down the bike, i have power left. other then the rincon, none will go faster then 51-52
