Default 03 warrior looses spark,???

Hey everyone, new to the boards here. I just picked up an 03 warrior. It has pretty good spark when taking the plug out and checking it against a ground. A few days ago it didnt have any spark. I can get the quad to run for about 5 seconds but then it dies. Im thinking its loosing spark. I took the stator out but dont have a manual to get the specs to check it with an ohm meter. Trying to fix it asap and no one has a manual in stock. Does my symptons sound like the stator/pickup going bad or could it be the cdi or coil? thanks in advance for the help!

Ok put the stator back in b/c i wanted to check the revese lever. I grounded out the green wire and it still does the same thing. new plug, grounded the reverse ,and it rusn for about 30 seconds then dies. just ordered a new Ricky stator .picup etc. So well see if that does it. Do an ohms check on the wire leading to the plug, it could be frayed inside or corroded. Check every hot wire leading to the plug. You should have done that before investing in the stator.

Check the power source of the orange wire. The orange wire could be damaged.
