New Big Bears any faster than an older versions?
#1
I was just wondering. I love my current machine(2000 big bear 4X4) in the woods and mud, but i live in a verrry flat rural area where its also fun to hold the throttle to the stops across the open fields from woods to woods. The bear is terrible at that. Even my Recon is faster. So with the new fully independant Big Bears I wondered if they changed anything else with the tranny to get more top end speed. Although I wouldn't want them to if it meant losing the low end grunt. (Yamaha just give us a sixth gear for the thing! Please!)
P.S. Do the kodiaks/grizzly 400 and 450s have a higher top speed? I'm not looking to do 90mph. I'd just like to be able to juice it up to 60-65 every once in awhile.
