#1
First of all disregard the s/n i got that warrior when i was 13.
Im looking to buy a new sport atv. I'm 6'1 260. I have only ridden one sport atv and it was a kfx400 it carried me pretty good and i can get an 06 great condition for 3700, but i havnt really heard anything about them on here just about the z400 so i figured it must be better right. Im stuck between any sport atv the has a clutch, and 400cc and up. I'm mostley gonna ride trails and fields, and some mudding, I dont want a 400ex. i wanna go fast! and i dont wanna look to big for the quad any advice would be much appreciated !!!

The KFX and the Z have the same motor made buy suzuki.I like the Z and the KFX better than the EX because their water cooled but I've seen them race and there wasnt much difference.I know that statement will probably start a war but they do run about the same.Good luck.

The Z/KFX engine has tons of hop up potential with just a few simple mods like opening up the airbox and an aftermarket exhaust, etc. The Z is a great all-around machine, but on a really tight semi-technical trail I like the EX because its engine will lug down better than the Z.
I can't remember what the differences are between the Z, KFX, and Arctic Cat. Go to the different individual forums and you will be able to get more specific info.........

The Arctic Cat has different handlebars, foot-pegs, and seat, as well as different plastic all around.

my friend thats like 250lb rides a kfx, it holds him pretty damn good actually
even though in the manuel it says to NEVER exceed the maximum weight load of 243lbs...we always make fun of him for that LOL
he wants a ds650 or kfx700 now....he doesnt like yamahas or we'd probably all talk him into getting a 700r

Well all stock a 400 is a much better trail quad then a 450 (i have both) i rode a 700 and liked it to but the yfz is aculy faster then the 700 stock on stock (mainly because the stock 700 is runnin like 8.5:1 compression which is very low for a sport quad). I know u dont want a 400ex but like recon said the pull hard at any rpms. A 450 with a bigger rear spoket would also work good for you and give u ALOT more power. The honda will also last a lot longer then a z/ac/kfx. But in the end it is up to you
