Hi everyone. I had a problem with the on/off switch on my Honda 300EX. It would start in either the on or the off position. Before I got to change it, I changed the battery terminals and cables because I found that they were cut and deteriorated. I had some cables from a riding lawnmower laying around that were a little thicker gauge than the stock cables. I put them on. It started up and the lights were bright. About a week later I started the quad and the wiring harness fried. It was melted from the on/off switch down a ways. I think it was from the switch, but I want to make sure that the battery cables weren't the problem before I put on the new harness and switch. Thanks to anyone that can help me.
