free mods?

Default free mods?

are there any mods that i can do without having to buy anything that will get a little more power out of my 07 wolverine? (things such as taking out the spark arrestor)

I have not seen the inside of the stock muffler but if the spark arrester is just a screen you will not gain any power removing it.

I don't know of any free mods. There are lots of great mods like muffler, air filter, clutch kit etc.. that cost money though. lol [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Taking the spark arrestor would result in you having to rejet it because your opening up the exhaust, I don't know of anything you can do with out buying anything, you even have to buy gas to ride it.

taknig your spark arrestor out doesn't mean u have to rejet..

you could cut your lid eand remore your baffle.. if u do that you'll need to rejet

thanks, i kinda figured there wouldnt be anything good that i could do fo free, but i didnt know if there was something like the yfz cam mod (rotate it one tooth and gain 3-4 mph and lose no low end)

Take the spark arrestor out and baffle.Then drill several holes in the metal plate behind the baffle so its more of a straight threw flow.Then go up a size or two on the main jet.

If you take the lid off your airbox and go to a higher flow air filter, remove the spark arrestor and drill some holes in the plate of your exhaust, you will have to rejet it

but you would wake it up for about $75-$100

On the '06 the air cleaner lid holds the filter in so it can't be run without it. You could drill some holes in the lid though in certain areas.

Yeah well it dosn't always work that way, i've had to rejet some bikes when the baffle was removed, most had a K&N installed though.
