Default Rear Shock Ajust ?



Hi i recently bought 02 650 prairie seems a bit stiff in back compared to my buddys 04 700 prairie. Anybody know if it is posible to ajust myself save a bit of money in my pocket lol. Thank you.

Default Rear Shock Ajust ?

on the top of the shock you can see 2 threaded rings with notches on them. the spanner wrench in the tool kit is almost
useless because not much room around the rings. most people remove the shock but i used a real long straight screwdriver and a small hammer to hit the notches and loosen the top ring (counter clockwise). just move the bottom ring the same direction to soften the shock. if the atv has been jumped a lot or has a lot of miles the shock might need to be rebuilt.

Thanks for the info loafie going to give her a try as soon as it warms up a bit -11 celcius right now.
