Warrior 350 vs Raptor 350
#1
I was wandering what difference there is between the new and old 350 models,is one faster than the other or what?i raced one not to long ago that was bone stock but had baffle out,and i killed him off the line and tied at the end and didnt even go into sixth gear, but my warrior has a little carb issues with fouling plugs, wrong fuelbowl height maybe and im using a 150 main which i think is to small but he was in 6 i was in 5 and we tied,i was wandering if there and better than the old models or if they just have a newer look

you gotta be way lean if u have just a 150 mani in it.. i am up 1 in needle and pilot screw and a 152.5 main and it is spot on and all i have is a cut lid and a slipon ... u got a whole lot more work done than me..

Theres no difference in power, stock for stock. A drag race will depend on a lot of things, not just power. Like traction( who has better tires for that particular track), weight( how fat are you versus your competition? ), gearing, and rider experience. But the Craptor 350 uses the same engine as the Warrior. Sounds to me like you need to do some fine tuning and get yours right. I had about the same mods as you and was outrunning modified 400EXs with all other variables about the same.

The raptor 350 weighs less and has better ergos example= Its much easier to go from the sitting to standing postion on the rap pared to the warrior the exaust is much much better on the 350 pared to stock on the warrior the raptor has a diffrent carb which all in all stock 4 stock the raptor would be faster BUT!!! there just so close still it would depend all on the rider if you beat him on your warrior i bet you could swap up and get on the raptor and do even better but either way there still gonna be so close it would be hard to say that one is faster than the other.
