HAS ANY0NE TRIED THAT TIRE REPAIR KIT FROM CABELAS THAT CONTAINS THE PLUGS AND THE C02 CARTRIDGES TO INFLATE YOUR TIRES WITH? I WAS THINKING OF BUYING ONE BUT THOUGHT I WOULD CHECK WITH YOU GUYS FOR ANY OPINIONS. THANKS

I own the very kit from Cabelas. No flats yet, so I can't tell you how it works. The kit should handle most flats. I like the carrying case since it fits in my tool box that I carry.

What type of plug kit is it. Are they black rubber plugs or brown string looking things. The brown strings dry out over time and create a leak.

I keep one of those plug kits on my quad, along with a mini bicycle tire pump. Total cost was $10. I think the CO2 kit is a waste. It takes three cartridges to fill a tire (from what I've heard) that would be $10 alone! I even set a tire bead for a guy on the trail with the pump, try that with those little CO2 canisters, no way.
