Default 02' Scrambler 90- While I have the carb. Apart

While I have the carb. apart to replace the bowl gasket . Is there any hop ups I should do ? Like go to a bigger main jet or pilot jet ?

you dont change jets unless its for temperture changes, or you modded the exhaust/air flow.

I didn't know if these atv's come from the factory on the lean side to pass emmisions . And if you went up a jet size if it would increase your performance.
I just know that some street bikes are so lean from the factory that they hardly run . You can go up a jet size right from the factory and increase performance.

Why did you tear the carb apart on the Polaris 90. I am having carb probs now, wont go above idle. Thanks Paul

Actually......they probably come RICH from the factory. And, just giving it more fuel, in most cases, won't give that much more power(like your case). It would probably be best to just leave it be, to keep the motor on the safe/rich side.
