Hello all

Just wondering if any of you have replaced the original 01 ds650 battery with another battery from bombardier. What I am getting at is I wanted to keep the oem battery cause my original battery lasted 6 yrs, so I want to go with the original battery it came with, but I have to order a relocation kit to move the battery box some. Has anybody else on here did this or did you just go with an aftermarket battery? I want to stick with oem cause its not very often you get a battery to last that long. This kit I have to order does anyone know how much it actually moves the battery box? Thanks for any help.

 

your original battery is probably grey in color and is made by odyssey. its model number is pc545 and here is a link where you can see them for yourself . if you buy them directly from odyssey they will be a much cooler orange color. odyssey batteries

 

Do they have one for a 2005 dsx.And i also saw for the ds battery that they have alluminum battery boxes.Didnt know if the 03 ds was any different than a 04-05 ds.
