Default Gas/oil ratio

Automatic pump broke years ago on n old 1978 Yamaha DT175E dirt bike. Been so long since I mixed any fuel for it. I want to run it as rich as I can get away with without fouling plugs. Will 32:1 give it a good oiling?

You should post this in the Yamaha forum. I have rode a few late 70s DTs. 32:1 is fine but it should do alright on 40:1. I never had plug problems on 32:1 but, I only rode the bike around the backyard. 32:1 is more than safe, I wouldn't mix in more oil than that.
