Need sprocket help

i was wantog more top end for my 426ex. i still have the stock sprockets and i was wondering what size of a back sprocket i should get. thanks for all ur advice and plz tell me if i will have to get a different chain too. thanks alot

depending on what compression piston you got with the oversize, you should be able to pull a 36T rear sprocket with ease and not lose all your low end power. That's a little safer than trying to go one tooth up on the front sprocket and end up with clearance issues. Your stock chain should not be too long, but you'd have to check once you have the sprocket on, since it really depends on the condition of your chain. I can tell you that it's like having another gear on the straights compared to a 400 with stock gearing, I'd say at least 5 mph faster, maybe closer to 10.
