as far as i know they are great. i do not know about the warrenty, but............... out of curiosity how do you like it? what kind of things do you do on it? and does it have enough power? i am thinking of buying one for my wife as a crusier when we go camping.

Codman, I have a 2005 Rubicon. I love this machine. So far the only problem I have had with it is the battery seems to not be strong enough sometimes, I took it back to the dealer twice while still under honda warranty and it tested ok for them but sometimes it does not want to start. I would not buy the extended warranty myself, but some people do. I guess it depends on how much of a gambler you are. Honda's reliability is very good. I ride trails, do farm chores, plow snow, and use it for hunting and hauling firewood, the Rubicon will do anything you want it to do.

My GF's dad just got an 06 Rubicon. From reading the forums they seem to be very reliable.
Of all the threads I've read on a bunch of forums, I think I've only seen one post about a premature major problem, and even with that one if I recall Honda covered most of it even though the machine was well past warranty time (but low miles).
I went Foreman because I prefer foot shift, but if I wanted an auto to tow/plow with the Rubicon would be my first choice. It's faster to switch between forward and reverse than my machine.
I mostly do trail riding with some technical tough stuff, and I'm looking at picking up a Rincon. It's IRS system just flys over rough stuff in comfort and control that neither my Foreman or the Rubicon can match.
